the object is to kill the other player...so it's gotta be good then eh?
You can also download a demo of a game written in AMOS...a platformer.
It uses a rather nifty little AMAL routine for a real-time timer (!)
aswell as a nice scrolly which has been a topic of discussion recently on
the list.
The source code is available for the first game and I am willing to
divulge the tricks and tips of the demo should anyone be interested.
There is also a lot of non-AMOS AMIGA stuff...so check it out.
So...I know what you are thinking!...
a) Who the hell is this guy anyway?
and b) Where is this site then, cos I might just get around to taking a look.
Well...allow me to enlighten you...
a) Me. I'm Rich (or simply RMS). I admit that I haven't written much to
the list...but I pay close attention. I have helped a few of you but only
on a one-to-one basis. 'cos I'm shy.
b) Do you REALLY *REALLY* **REALLY** want to know??...Okay then...
http://www.bath.ac.uk/~ma4rms/home.html
or you can go straight to the AMIGA page...
http://www.bath.ac.uk/~ma4rms/amiga.html
(Hardly surprising that second one eh?)
Do let me know of any comments or suggestions that you might have!
Enjoy!
Long live the AMIGA...but don't be too harsh on the ole PC.
I'll get my coat.
Rich
P.S. Cowards rule...if that's okay with you.
